  • Joined OpenBox in the Summer to challenge myself and change up my usual routine. The coaches are all awesome and I find the environment inclusive. The workouts are definitely designed to push you, but with reps and motivation from both trainers and classmates, I’ve improved technique and confidence. Will continue to go here and push my fitness goals!

  • Joined OBA at end of 2021 after not being in a consistent weight training program for some time: started with Colidr (dumbbell/HIIT focus) and have transitioned to traditional CrossFit classes. Programming, coaches, and the community are great in all class formats! I have learned a ton about training/CrossFit in such a short time. Yoga is also a great option for members. Highly recommend!

  • If I could, I would give this place 10 stars. Everything from the facility to the workouts and coaches is amazing. From the moment you step foot in the door, you're instantly welcomed and treated like an old friend. The knowledge that the coaches not only have, but will pass onto you will give you everything you need to achieve your fitness goals. So no matter what your fitness level and goals are, or whatever box you check in life, OBA is the place for all to achieve all.

  • I joined OBA back in early 2019, completely new to the CrossFit fitness world. I knew I needed some structure to help me get back in shape and OBA provided just that and much more. The coaches are all awesome, down to earth people who are extremely knowledgeable about all things fitness. From Day 1, I never felt that I was alone in my journey to becoming a better athlete. The coaches, especially Kory, Melody, and Joey, helped make sure that I was doing things safely and correctly while also pushing me to continue to become better each day. I have since moved away from the area, but cannot speak enough to how great both the gym and the community of people that attend the gym are. Without my time here, I would not have renewed my passion for fitness and gotten to where I am today. Highly recommend this place for anyone who has a passion for fitness (or wants to) as you'll really enjoy the workouts and sense of community.

  • Open box Athletics has a consistent goodness about it. Day after day and from the owners to the coaches to the members working out next to you. This gym took everything this last year threw at it and not only didn’t quit but took care of each other throughout.

    If you are like I was ...starting with almost no level of exercise besides walking the dog...don’t think you need to get better before you come. You are more than welcome here and the coaches will help you scale movements to safely challenge you. I learned to show up and trust the process. Along the way I’ve become measurably stronger and found myself belonging to something I’m grateful for every day. I’m hoping you will too.

  • The coaches are great and friendly, the gym is very clean, and everyone is so supportive. I was definitely nervous about joining a gym like this, having no CrossFit experience. The coaches meet you where you are and work with you so that you get the results that you want.

The gym is clean and spacious, with a variety of class options (in-person and virtual) to chose from. The coaches are patient and extremely knowledgeable, and will encourage you to be the best version of yourself. I highly recommend OBA, regardless of where you are in your fitness journey.   • This gym provides great programming and supportive and knowledgeable coaches. I am new to this style of fitness and every class I get helpful tips to be able to exercise in a safe and efficient manner. As a nurse I was looking to find a gym that I felt comfortable with who took COVID precautions seriously and I’ve never felt unsafe at any time during classes. Every interaction with staff that I have had has been pleasant and professional!

  • OpenBox Athletics is amazing gym and community. I have been doing CrossFit here for over two years and absolutely love it; the progress I've made here is outstanding. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and experienced and spend time working with you on your goals. The programming is tough yet scalable for all levels and focuses on a range of movements in weightlifting, Olympic lifting, conditioning/cardio and gymnastics. I also love Emily Smith's Olympic weightlifting class on Sundays that focuses on form for the more technical lifts. This gym also offers boot camp and yoga as well which is an added bonus :)

    The best part of OBA is the community - it's fun and welcoming and everyone is supportive of each other's goals , which makes this more than just a gym. I highly recommend this gym to all!!
